Course Overview
The Department of Computer Engineering has become a full-fledged department with advanced laboratory facilities to train the students to meet the current needs of the fast changing industrial scenario.The Computer Engineering Department provides excellent environment for training in computer hardware and software. With ever increasing demand for software and hardware professionals in IT field , the course provides ample opportunities for employment in India and abroad. The department offers three year Diploma course in Computer Engineering. The annual intake is 67 students. The curriculum has been systematically designed to mould a competent Computer engineer to cater the needs of industry and R&D. Periodical updation of the syllabus is also done in order to keep with changes in modern software and hardware fields. The department periodically organizes seminars and workshops to train faculty and students on emerging research areas and trends in the area of Computer Engineering. Faculty from premier institutions are invited to the department for lectures under visiting faculty scheme. All Computer maintenance ,website maintenance and developmental activities within the campus is overseen and undertaken by the department.
