Course Overview
The Department of Information Technology has become a full-fledged department with advanced laboratory facilities to train the students to meet the current needs of the fast changing industrial scenario.The Information Technology Department provides excellent environment for training in computer hardware and software. With ever increasing demand for software and hardware professionals in IT field , the course provides ample opportunities for employment in India and abroad. The department offers three year Diploma course in Information Technology. The annual intake is 66 students. The curriculum has been systematically designed to mould a competent IT to cater the needs of industry and R&D. Periodical updation of the syllabus is also done in order to keep with changes in modern software and hardware fields. The department periodically organizes seminars and workshops to train faculty and students on emerging research areas and trends in the area of IT. Faculty from premier institutions are invited to the department for lectures under visiting faculty scheme. All Computer & Software maintenance ,website maintenance and developmental activities within the campus is overseen and undertaken by the department.
