HoD's Message

Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in 2021 and is backed by a team of faculty members who have significant experience in the field of teaching and support for student development activities.

The Department offers a vibrant atmosphere for students to nurture the spirit of scientific inquiries. The objective of the department is to carry out privileged education in Engineering and Technology relevant to the current and projected needs of society. It fosters support between the academic and industrial neighborhoods through the fusion of Mechanical Engineering. The curriculum prepares students for a wide variety of technical and professional areas having their roots in Mechanical Engineering.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

• PO 1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
• PO 2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
• PO 3. Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
• PO 4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
